Winter Wellness
Humidify your home during the dry winter months. Humidity during the winter should be around 45%. Below 30% can cause increased colds and allergies (along with dry skin and damage to your house). You can get an inexpensive humidity guage (hygrometer) at most home or electronics stores.

Quick Tips
Drink fluids even in the cold winter months. Cut your body weight in half and call it ounces, this gives you an idea of how much you should be drinking each day. For example, a person weighing 150 pounds would need to drink 75 ounces of water and/or herbal tea.
